The BM-02 NANNY continuously checks your baby’s breathing and movements to confirm the absence of a possible danger. The Nanny Triggers an acoustic and visual alarm if breathing stops for longer than 20 seconds or if the rate of breathing is bellow acceptable limit (8 breaths per minute). This allows for Apnea (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) and other life threatening conditions to be indicated in time to save the child. The sensor pad, positioned under the mattress, detects the gentle movements of an infant’s chest. Carries complete CE registration as a medical device and complies with 93/42/EC Device Directive. Monitors the breathing and movements of an infant. Triggers acoustic and visual alarm after 20 seconds without breathing or if breathing rate drops to below 8 breaths per minute. Nanny’s ultra-sensitive pad is the largest on the market. Nanny is the only monitor that can be upgraded to use two ultra-sensitive sensor pads. Operates on regular AA household batteries for safety and simplicity. For mattresses up to 14cm. Fully portable. Low battery life indicator. The monitor works with any mattress up to 14cm thick and is not limited to foam only. The Nanny monitor does NOT come with a parent unit - this is so that you stay close to your baby when he/she is sleeping and if the alarm sounds telling you your baby is not breathing you can get to them more quickly.
