Mama Sure Pelvic Floor Exerciser
The birth of a child can affect and weaken a mother’s pelvic floor muscle. This can cause continence problems which the MamaSure (Ultima EMS model) can rectify. Twelve weeks after having had a baby if incontinence problems have not been resolved by simple pelvic floor exercises, the use of the MamaSure is recommended. There are three forms of incontinence: Stress, Urge, and Mixed. Stress Incontinence describes the involuntary leakage of urine when a person coughs, sneezes, strains or makes sudden movements. Urge Incontinence describes an overactive bladder. A person experiences a strong and sudden urge to go to the toilet but is not always able to hold on. Mixed Incontinence is a combination of both Stress and Urge Incontinence
